Ekushey Television Limited is a national television broadcasting channel in Bangladesh that generates revenue through the sale of advertising airtime, sponsored programs, and commercial slots. The Sales and Marketing department manages numerous contracts with agencies and clients, generates invoices, tracks collections, and produces periodic financial and operational reports.

Prior to automation, managing advertising contracts, invoicing, and revenue tracking involved manual processes and fragmented record keeping. This resulted in delays in reporting, difficulty in tracking outstanding dues, and limited visibility into sales performance.

To address these challenges, a centralized Media Sales Management System was designed and implemented to streamline contract management, billing, revenue collection, and reporting operations.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the system are:

• Automate the end-to-end media sales lifecycle
• Manage advertising contracts and airtime allocation
• Generate accurate invoices and financial records
• Track revenue collections and outstanding dues
• Provide comprehensive operational and financial reports
• Enable role-based access for different departments
• Improve transparency, auditability, and decision support

The system follows a centralized client-server architecture.
